Happy Mother's Day!!
It's been an eventful weekend.
The girls were flower girls at Vanand and Meghedi's wedding. They did amazing!! The wedding was phenomenal!! We shut the place down. That should tell you enough.
Saturday we celebrated with everyone and went to Chuck E Cheese. Yup, that's what you do on a rainy day with 5 kiddos! It was very fun!! Then we had dessert at Grandma's.
Sunday I got to take a nap with my sweet Sofi and was treated to a wonderful Angels game. Apparently it was partly Father's Day today. LOL! But we had fun and I got ice cream.
Earlier today I taught the girls how to actually tie their sweatshirts around their waist. First it was Sofi, then Alex a few minutes later and they mastered it. Then I jokingly said that they didn't need me anymore since they can do this and so many other things. Well, I settled their fears that I was only joking and not going anywhere.
As I'm putting the girls to sleep, Alex asks "can we keep you forever".
Oh dear God yes, baby girl. A million times YES!! I am yours and you are mine - until the end of time. You have no idea how much I love you and your sister and your brother.

first loose tooth!!
We have our first loose tooth!!
Miss Alex has a loose tooth!! As far as I know, there hasn't been any trauma. And it's pretty loose, not just a tiny bit. She hasn't said a single thing!
We were coming back from Costco and a nap in the car, as she got out, her bottom two teeth didn't look right. I freaked out a bit because she has tiny teeth and I thought something happened to them .... Not to mention that she's only 4.5!!!!!! WTF!! I didn't expect it so soon. She didn't get her first tooth until almost 7 months! I totally thought Sofi would loose her's first, she just seems more physically "developed/advanced". But here we have it, my first born has her very first loose tooth. I'm just so emotional that they are growing up so fast!!
Today, Alex was even really practicing her letters. I usually can't persuade her to write letters, today she was doing pages from her Frozen book and writing "Music" and "North" and doing a pretty good job. She and Sofi even drew pictures to send to Emily and Alex wrote the names on the "engelope". My babies!!
And the real baby...he was invited to a birthday party for his friend at school...may he always be this excited!! He was so happy that all the kids were invited and they had talked about it at school so the other kids were also excited. The invite said to bring swimsuits if the weather was nice, so we went and got him a new suit, (with lobsters on it) and Ale. Helped him pick the shirt and he picked a hat. Then we went to Target and he picked out a truck sand toy and a truck book (I added a Good Dinosaur book). We went to the party and changed for the pool. It was a little pool so the kids just went in. He was so happy trying to play with them. When Easton's mom said it was time to come out and do the cake and presents, Patrick was so good about doing what was expected so he could participate in the next activity. It was the cutest!!! He was so excited to have Easton open his present. I could have just watched him all day in awe of how sweet and innocent he was. We went outside to play on the bounce house and his friends came too. They had so much fun. As their teacher says, they're a bunch of boys who act like boys. I hope every party he goes to is this much fun. He was very polite and said Happy Birthday, thank you and goodbye.
I love my babies.
And Sofi is getting so much better about being less socially anxious. I can go in another room and she doesn't freak out. She asks where I am and is ok with it for a decent amount of time. She is also loving ballet! I hear her laughing in class! This is the girl I know, not the scared and angry one.

Summer 2015
Alex Broke her leg on August 4th while on vacation in San Diego. She and H were coming down one of the "easy" water slides at Legoland and he accidentally fell on her in the water while trying to make sure she didn't go under water. The medic said that she had a sprain and to just take it easy with some ibuprofen. Next morning she still couldn't walk on it so off to the pedi. Sure enough as soon as they opened the x-ray on the computer, you clearly see the fracture on her tibia. They put a soft cast on it until we went to the orthopedist two days later. At that point they put a green cast on it (her choice!).
We were told to keep it on for four weeks and that they would take a look at it again.
She did AMAZING in those 4 weeks. She didn't complain once. She kept busy with Lego's and playing with princesses and barbies. We had a little table inside so she could sit there and prop her leg up to play and color and eat. She eventually learned to scoot on her bottom and keep her leg up. Once this was mastered - there was no holding her back! She was keeping up with Sofi and Patrick with no problem.
She did have issues going out, she didn't like it that people would look at her. It made her very shy.
We were also told to keep her leg dry and not to even chance it getting wet, because when they set the cast, they had to position it in a certain way because the spot her leg broke at could get a

Things to remember
Pee cause = because. (Alex)
Got for = forgot (Alex)
Patrick is still refusing to be potty trained but has happened to pee two times in the potty over the last two weeks.
Sofi. Where to start. Had a horrible experience at spring camp at MyGym. She cried the whole time that they gave her a blanket to sleep in the lobby. Since then, she won't go to ANY of her classes. It's a little horrible trying to convince her. I'm willing to do try anything. Such a struggle.
Meanwhile Alex is doing so well in ballet and getting ready for her recital in July.

Patrick-ism
Here goes = here you go
He will stand and tell you how things are supposed to be while wagging his finger.
If you don't understand him and get things wrong, he repeats himself slowly, syllable by syllable, as if you are not as smart as he is. And he has a very deliberate look on his face!
Sofia & Alex use the word "cloky walky". They have also started to use their Barbie dolls as "mommy" and the little princess dolls as the "babies". I usually respond to them in error when they ask mommy something.
Alex has officially been out of pull ups when she sleeps for three days!! She's doing great!!

So much
Alex was "reading" the hungry caterpillar!! She went through each page, all the food and then showed us the butterfly page! It was totally unprovoked. She was just lying in bed and I caught on that she was doing this!!!
Patrick is a mimicking machine. He talks pretty well but he repeats anything you say!! He's obsessed with garbage trucks, dump trucks, fire trucks ..... Any vehicle. When he sees a mail truck, he says "mew mew" aka "mail"! So cute! And he calls every Prius "daddy's car".
Sofi is just an amazing old soul. She hugs Patrick all the time. Even if he tries to hit her, she just hugs and kisses him. She loves to dance around.
